Makeup Monday: Summer-Up Your Look!

Happy Makeup Monday Beauties! 
         It's getting hot ! Soon summer will be here, and I am SUPER excited. The fashion and makeup trends this summer are bold, bright, and full of amazing color and style. 


Summer means great things for beauties, but it also brings makeup's two biggest enemies: Heat and Humidity! 


 Smudged, cakey, melted makeup-YUCK! 


Fear Not! Here are a few solid ways to summerfy your look and keep your makeup flawless while beating the heat: 

 Make Time to Prime. 

   You will never regret the few seconds it will take to smooth on a primer, which goes on after moisturizer but before face makeup. Primer makes your skin a smooth base for the makeup to go on, and keeps it in place all day.Primer is light-weight, but still makes a phenomenal difference. You only need a dime sized amount. You can stay-proof your lip and eye makeup with eye shadow and lip primer as well.  There are many amazing primers with SPF and oil-free formulas that are perfect for summer.  Lighten up.

He's right!  You don't need the heavy coverage and dark colors that you used in the winter. Try tinted moisturizer instead of foundation or switching to a lighter formula. Be a Bronzed Goddess

   Bronzer gives a beautiful warmth and glow effect. It also makes your eyes look brighter, your teeth look whiter. I have a tendency to go a little crazy with it, but don't be like me! Keep it fresh and natural  applying bronzer just to the high points of your face, where the sun naturally hits you : forehead, cheekbones, chin, and the bridge of the nose.If you have a very fair complexion be sure to sweep a little bronzer onto your neck and earlobes, especially if you have short hair or are wearing a pony­tail. A tan face that's framed by pale ears will look awkward. Powder bronzers are the easiest to apply; look for one with varying shades — they'll swirl together for the most authentic-looking results. Try a Vibrant Color
      For goodness sakes! Get Bold and Bright. There are so many new lip colors, eye shadow palettes, and even blush that represent the bright fun of summertime. Color is IN now more than ever. Don't be afraid to get out of your comfort zone and try them. Bright colors are proven to improve your mood and boost your confidence. Wear Waterproof 


        Waterproof formulas  are a lifesaver in the summer particularly of sunscreen and mascaras.
